The Current Illicit Cases Should Be Probed – President Buhari
On Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari vowed to expose all the crooked cases in Nigeria.
Buhari said that all fraudulent cases, both past, and current, should be reviewed.
He confirmed this at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, and it was expressed in a statement sent to DAILY POST by his spokesman, Garba Shehu.
Buhari regretted the abuse of confidence by some citizens in both the previous government and this government.
He explained that the probe was responsible for the setting up of a commission to look into such cases of corruption.
“All past and present corrupt cases will be fully investigated.
“All of such cases will be uncovered and firmly dealt with by his government.
“This is why we put the commission (of investigation) in place. There has been abuse of trust by people trusted by the previous administration and this administration.”
