Jose Mourinho, former boss of Manchester United, has disclosed what and how Mohammed Salah can win the Ballon d’Or prize.
Mohammed Salah, despite having a wonderful 2018 was unfortunate to miss out on the award after finishing sixth in the voting. The star forward was hampered by a difficult Word Cup campaign in Russia as Egypt failed to collect a single point in the global showpiece.
But Salah in 2019 proved he has the sauce in him after having another good year including winning the Champions League title for Liverpool.
This year, Salah stands a pole position of gunning for the Ballon d’Or. But Mourinho believes the former Roma striker can only take a major step to the individual top prize by leading his home country to glory in the coming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition.
